Glad to see you back! Have you get your FREE report? If you haven't, then now is a good time to get it! Get Your Free Report Now!.

One of my favorite natural back pain relief exercises that i utilize, the Back Twist will exercise your lower back, neck, upper back, midsection plus hips.

It functions in a side twisting action, that is rhythmic and also mild, and exercises the muscular areas, lines up the spine, boosts the blood circulation as well as stretches the hips.

Nevertheless, any time you believe you may well have issues with your neck or upper back, you have to consult with a physician before trying this exercise.

Upper Back Twist Work out

1. Always keep your feet parallel and your lower back straight, with the shoulder blades as apart from each other as attainable.

Bend your knees slightly.

Now let your weight on the legs.

Always keep both hands by your sides, dangling freely.

Look in front of you.

2. Twist your head along with upper torso (lightly) to your right, until eventually your look is directly behind you.

Do not do anything specific with your hands and arms, merely permit them to shift independently, based on the turning action of the upper body.

Your feet as well as legs should be held towards your front all the time, given that just the arms and also torso move.

To help it become much easier to be straight whilst executing this work out, not having swaying forwards and also backwards, picture that your body incorporates a pole in the center of it, starting from the ground, through your spinal cord and up towards the top of your head. And, your entire body twists around the pole in this physical exercise.

3. Switch back towards the front slowly, after that keep going and turn towards the left, in the same manner, until eventually you are looking behind you, exactly like you do before. Keep carrying out this, going from one side to the other.

Please don’t forget that the arms should move naturally, without having you interrupting in any way. Do the training in a ongoing movement, without stopping. Build up the torque and velocity from the torso as well as hips slowly. Carrying out this will make the hands to slap your sides and the arms to swing wider.

Start off from executing 10 ro 15 twists for every single side, and in time get to 30-40 for every side. It should not require you more than several minutes.

Never end all of a sudden any time you’re completed with the workout. Preferably, decrease gradually, next return to the posture where you begin (the first step), leaving your arms to move till they return to your sides naturally. Have a number of deep and also gradual breaths.

Effective, Long Term Natural Back Pain Cures

By ama On September 27, 2009 No Comments

A great number of folks today are experiencing chronic and severe pain in their backs. Pain relievers are fine to help you deal with the pain of an occasional back ache. But if you have chronic back pain, it’s not advisable that you take medication for long term use to treat the problem. Fortunately, there are other alternatives to relieving back pain that are totally natural. Quite a few of these alternatives are founded on the principles of alternative medicine. Oftentimes those who suffer from back pain will get satisfactory results from these natural treatments.

The ancient practices of acupuncture and acupressure are two methods that can diminish pain in the muscles of the back by targeting specific trigger points on the body. Either of these procedures has a demonstrated ability to lessen back pain that’s persistent. The practice of acupressure requires that pressure is applied in a particular way to particular areas of the body that are believed to directly impact the way the back is feeling and thereby can have the effect of eliminating or reducing pain. The practice of acupuncture requires sticking very thin needles into the body; these needles are specifically designed for this process. These needles target specific points based on the ancient Chinese practice of acupuncture.

For either of these approaches to natural back pain relief, you will need to go through a series of sessions in order to lessen your chronic back pain. You will probably see an improvement with just one session. For more permanent results, though, you need to go for treatment about once every week.

These aren’t the only alternatives when it concerns natural relief from pain for backaches. Many herbs and botanical products have significant healing power. Quite a few of these products also have pain relieving abilities to offer you some relief from your discomfort. If the cause of your condition is swelling and inflammation in your back, many of these natural preparations can take the edge off this problem. The benefit of these products is that they not only help those who suffer chronic back pain, yet may also be utilized to resolve pain in other parts of the body.

The capsicum patch is another natural solution for those with chronic pain. You just stick the patch on the area that is in pain and it will release natural pain relievers into the impacted region. These patches work even if they become wet, and they need not be changed for a few days.

There are many more natural ways to treat your chronic back pain, from massage to flexibility exercises that will relax and tone your back muscles. If you decide against taking long term medication to keep your pain at bay, you’ll be relieved to know that there are a ton of other available options that are both safe and effective in managing your pain. But before you utilize any of these treatments, ask your doctor if it is okay first.

Natural Back Pain Relief – Reduce Back Pain Without Drugs

By ama On August 17, 2009 No Comments

Back pain seems to be a topic of discussion more frequently than it was a decade ago and with good reason. Our bodies are not made to slump in a chair all day or to be leaning into a desk at a computer. Back pain can be excruciating and place limits on everyday functions.

The vast majority of people simply don’t realize that as their life changes with regards to the way in which they are required to use their bodies, it becomes necessary for them to make certain changes with regards to the way they take care of their bodies. Interestingly enough, the vast majority of back pain can be cured both easily and naturally, unless of course, you’ve been involved in some form of an accident at some point in your life which has in turn resulted in serious damage. Even then, there are numerous exercise programs capable of at least helping to reduce the amount of pain you experience.

Of course, as you can well imagine, your overall well being depends largely on your back, just as does youth and vitality. In fact, we’re only able to maneuver our bodies because the lower back supports most of our weight.

Because your back curves inwards naturally, it is responsible for supporting a phenomenal amount of weight. Should any of your vertebrae begin moving out of alignment because of bad posture and poor habits, you will inevitably begin experiencing pain. Contrary to what you may have heard, taking painkillers continuously or undergoing surgery is far from being the ideal solution. Instead, when your back hurts, it is essentially trying to tell you that something is wrong and as such, you should never ignore back pain or mask it by taking painkillers.

Confronting the root of the problem is the only logical answer; correct the posture. For many, the muscular endurance to hold their spine in proper alignment is too difficult to achieve on a daily basis. Others unknowingly tense up from stress, causing muscles to tire too easily.  Simply put, have better posture and you have better health.

The primary step anyone should take with regards to reducing back pain, is that they should find a suitable posture program which can teach them how to maintain a comfortable position while at the same time keeping their spine in proper alignment. One can then train your body to do this all the time in order to avoid any further back pain.  Natural back pain relief is the safest, most effective long-term way to reduce back pain and improve posture.

While strengthening exercises can be extremely beneficial for strengthening your muscles so that they don’t become tired, stretching exercises will help to improve flexibility. Likewise, relaxation exercises will help you to relax tense muscles, although it should also be noted that ideally, one needs to have an overall body awareness program in place.

One cannot really argue that awareness is essentially the key. By following some of the rules mentioned above, one can begin to enjoy good health and a nice strong back. Once you do, you’ll find that you gain a lot of confidence, not to mention the fact that you’ll be free from back pain. However it should be mentioned that you need to use the strengthening exercises, stretching exercises, and the relaxation exercises in conjunction with each other or else your bad habits will simply return. The bottom line is; in order to avoid back pain altogether, one has to change one’s routine in order to match the changing world we live in today.

Lower Back Pain Cure – Natural Lower Back Pain Treatment

By ama On March 6, 2009 No Comments

It doesn´t matter who you are, almost everyone will suffer from lower back pain at some point in their life. When I say lower back, I´m referring to the area that makes the connection between the upper and the lower body.

The lower back is responsible with the support of a large part of your weight. That´s why lower back injuries are so common, if you don´t twist, bend or lift the right way.

When you have lower back pain, you will probably spend quite a bit of time trying to find a treatment that works. At least you know that the lower back pain disappears after a few weeks of taking the needed treatment, if you don´t have an injury.

If the lower back pain doesn´t disappear after a few weeks, you should consult a doctor to find out the source of the problem.

In most cases, lower back pain will appear because of strains and injuries when it comes to how much your back can carry or for how much time you can do it.

In many cases, people get injured while playing sports, because they don´t know the correct positions to play.

As our age advances, the muscles and bones are weaker, which means that there is a higher chance of getting injured. Also, the discs that separate the vertebrae become weaker in time.

If such a disc is damaged, it will put a strain on your lower back. Such an injury can provoke increased pain, and in some cases you will need surgery to fix it.

One lower back treatment that works is using an ice pack over that area, keeping it for a quarter hour, every two hours. You need to do this for a few days in the beginning.

A lot of people prefer using heat instead of cold, but in the first few days, this can make things worse. The ice makes sure that the swelling and the inflammation go down.

After the first few days, you can use heat instead of ice, either by taking a hot shower or using a heating pad. You can also use hot water bottles for lower back pain treatment.

There are a number of drugs that can help you deal with the pain, such as Advil, Tylenol or Ibuprofen. Their best effect is if you begin to take them from the moment the pain appears, in the beginning. You shouldn´t wait until you can´t stand the pain anymore.

In the first few days, try to rest as much as possible. If you sit on the bed, lay on the side and not on your back, with your knees sitting on a pillow. If you really want to sleep on the back, sit on the floor, with your knees on pillows, which makes the circulation better. You only need to rest in bed for one or two days if you suffer from lower back pain. After that you should start doing things as normal.

Walking can be a very good exercise when you have lower back pain. A doctor will probably tell you to do stretches and other exercises to prevent future problems and to help with your current back pain.

Hip And Lower Back Pain – Common Causes Of Lower Back Pain

By ama On February 25, 2009 No Comments

Do you want to know why most people end up visiting a doctor? If lower back pain was your choice, then you would be right.

It happens so many times that it´s almost unbelievable. If you combine this information with the fact that most people are less active and live longer in our time, you might guess that it is the main reason why lower back pain exists in such large numbers today.

Whatever the origin of the lower back leg pain might be, I´m sure it´s very annoying. You go to a number of doctors, and nobody can help you with your problem. No cure seems to work.

It can be difficult dealing with back pain. Here are some of the things that might help you speed the healing process.

First of all, you should know that you will probably get the same treatments from doctors. You will have to answer a huge number of questions so they can understand what the problem is.

They will try to address the causes in the beginning because that decides what kind of treatment you should follow.

One of the biggest causes of back pain is stress. That happens because stress causes the muscles to tighten up. That is normal actually, since muscles need to do that in order to be able to take action.

Learning to relax is something you should learn to do. You can try going to an auction site such as eBay for example and buy a stress reduction or relaxation CD. You can find them cheap on this site.

Buy only one CD for now and listen to it on a regular basis. You can try for example to listen to it for 21 days. In the end you will see that you´ll be feeling a lot better.

Something that is quite common is muscle strains. In many cases, muscle strains commonly occurs in the neck area and lower back. That is because these muscle groups tends to be more fragile and when overstretch can lead to muscle strains.

Lower back muscles are infrequent exercised therefore the chances of getting lower back pain is higher.

Lifting and stretching can be useful in most problems we mentioned so far. You should learn how to pick up objects or how to lift them. This is particularly important as you get older and your back is more fragile.

Your pain will disappear faster if you exercise on a regular basis, as this will also improve flexibility and strengthen the muscles. All these benefits contribute to the reduction of chances of an acute back pain attack happening.

Your lower back will also improve if you lose some of the extra weight. In the beginning you should start slow, but in time you should get to 20-40 minutes of exercise in each session, with 3-5 sessions per week.

Chronic Low Back Pain Treatment – Guidelines For Treating Back Pain Problems

By ama On January 24, 2009 No Comments

There are plenty of treatments that can be chosen, at a number of different costs, and they all give you the same results. That makes it important that the chronic low back pain treatments have some guidelines behind them.

The American Pain Society and the American College of Physicians have worked together and released a set of guidelines that is complete, and tells the doctor what to do for patients that have chronic low back pain.

One necessary thing is stating the cause of the back pain and putting it in the exact category where it´s located, like back pain caused by a congenital condition like scoliosis, or pain caused by mechanical reasons, such as nerve roots, facet joints, disc, traverse process, spinous process or vertebra.

Some other types include tumours, infections and diseases that are not caused by injuries.
Something else that these new guidelines state is that X-rays should have a clear statement of the criteria behind their use before they´re done on a patient. According to the guidelines, the type of the back pain that the patient suffers from should be specified, as well as the causes behind it.

Also, the chronic low back pain treatment rules say that the types of medicine prescribed need to be specified, together with the course of treatment chosen for each patient, according to the back pain nature.

Whatever type of treatment is chosen, whether it´s massage, alternative, prescription, physical therapy or prescription, it should be chosen based on the causes of each back pain and symptoms.

If doctors will use the guidelines for chronic low back pain treatment as they are intended, chances for a treatment that is successful from its early stages are increased. Another good side effect will be that people will go through a smaller number of treatments until they are cured.

Also, it will cost much less to heal a patient with low back pain treatment, if these guidelines will be respected. Since healthcare costs increase every year, these guidelines will insure a much needed relief for authorities and patients.

Back Stretching Exercises – Simple Back Twist Exercise For Lower Back Pain Relief

By ama On January 7, 2009 No Comments

One of my favorite back stretching exercises I use, the Back Twist will work your lower back, neck, upper back, waist and hips.

It works in a side twisting action, which is rhythmic and gentle, and limbers the muscles, aligns the vertebrae, boosts the blood circulation and loosens the hips.

But, if you think you might have problems with your neck or back, you should talk with a health professional before trying it.

Back Twist Exercise

1. Keep your feet parallel and your back straight, with the shoulders as apart from each other as possible.

Bend your knees a little.

Let your weight on the legs.

Keep your hands by your sides, hanging loosely.

Look in front of you.

2. Twist your head and upper body (gently) to your RIGHT, until your look is directly behind you.

Don´t do anything special with your hands and arms, just allow them to move on their own, based on the turning movement of the upper body.

Your feet and legs should be kept towards your front all this time, since only the arms and body move.

To make it easier to be straight while doing this exercise, without swaying forwards or backwards, just imagine that your body has a pole in the middle of it, running from the ground, through your spine and up to the top of the head. And, your body twists around the pole in this exercise.

3. Turn back to the front slowly, then keep going and tun to the LEFT, in the same way, until you´re looking behind you, just like you did before. Keep doing this, moving from one side to the other.

Don´t forget that the arms should move naturally, without you interfering in any way. Do the exercise in a continuous movement, without pausing. Build up the torque and speed from the upper body and hips GRADUALLY. Doing this will make the hands to slap your sides and the arms to swing wider.

Start from doing 10-15 twists for each side, and in time get to 30-40 for each side. It shouldn´t take you more than a few minutes.

Don´t stop suddenly when you´re finished with the exercise. Instead, slow down gradually, then return to the position where you started (step 1), leaving your arms to swing until they return to your sides naturally. Take a few deep and slow breaths.
